Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

Twittionary HomeThis is a featured page

INTRODUCTION: Hi there. Welcome to Twittionary: an unofficial glossary of all things Twitter.
Is your head swimming from the seemingly endless stream of Twitter puns, apps, widgets, programs and...you name it? If so, hopefully this twork-in-progress will help out.

As background, I half-jokingly tweeted about how useful a twittionary would be, then did a search and found this great post by Shannon Yelland from fall 2008. I asked if we could use her material as a starting point and she graciously consented.
Feel free to browse, look things up, add/edit/correct and pass along info about this site to keep our collective twocabulary growing and fresh. And, if you'd like add a page for videos or other relevant content. BTW, you'll notice that unlike traditional dictionaries, we have an overabundance of entries under T.

If you like what you see, feel free to leave a comment in our guest book or join the community.
Thanks. Martin Waxman (Toronto-based PR agency owner and formerly reluctant Twitterer) Feel free to visit my blog, or connect on Linkedin, Facebook, or Twitter.
